The Promise — The World Is Divided in Two
To end the endless cycle of killing between humans and demons, human leader Julius Ratri proposed a partition of the world. Both sides agreed that neither would hunt the other. The world was sealed into two realms; a small number of humans were left behind as gifts, forming the origin of the human livestock farm system.

William Minerva (James Ratri) Purged by Peter Ratri
Peter Ratri, 36th head of the Ratri family, had his brother James — who opposed the farm system and sought to free the children — purged along with other dissidents. James survived underground and continued leaving escape routes under the alias William Minerva.

Conny Shipped Out — Emma and Norman Witness the Truth
On the night 6-year-old Conny is shipped out, 11-year-old Emma and Norman witness Conny's corpse and a demon at the gate. They learn that Grace Field House is a human livestock farm, setting the escape plan in motion.

Peter Ratri's End — The Farm System Collapses
Confronted by Emma and the others at Grace Field, Peter Ratri, exhausted from a millennium of maintaining the Promise and the farm system, takes his own life. With no one left to sustain it on the human side, the livestock farm system effectively collapses.

All Children Cross to the Human World — Emma Loses Her Memories
The new Promise Emma made at the Seven Walls activates, transporting all former livestock children into the human world enveloped in light. As the price, Emma loses all memories of her family and arrives alone in a different location.

Emma Reunited with Her Family
