Momo, fresh from a breakup with a boy who resembles actor Ken Takakura, rescues classmate Ken Takakura (Okarun) from bullies. Discovering their beliefs are diametrically opposed — she believes in ghosts, he in aliens — they make a bet to prove whose conviction is real.

Okarun enters a haunted tunnel and is caught by Turbo Granny — a territorial earth-bound spirit capable of running at 100 km/h — who places a curse on him, taking his kintama as a hostage.
